This Week's Challenge

Senior Design Team

Tracy
Tracy has created a page for her heritage scrapbook this week. She used masking, misting, and inking on her background and created some faux planking with some balsa wood to accent the photo of her great-grandfather.

Regan
Regan really loves the sketch this week, so she used it to make an Easter layout of her girls! Playing off of the patterned paper, she made lollipop flowers to accent her page. She decided to use black and white so the photos would really pop off of the page. For more photos and details, please visit her blog Emora Designs.

Jan
Jan used some botanical design papers, a Tim Holtz ink technique, her favorite card colors and jewelry cording for her card this week.

Design Team

Kim
Kim focused on the circles from the sketch to create her card. By creating her own stamped background, dahlia flower stamps and a trim of ribbon, she was able to create a birthday card with fresh twist. For more details and a list of supplies, be sure to visit Kim's blog and say hello while you're there!

Jennifer
Jennifer focused on the photo and horizontal elements of this week's sketch for her card. Head over to her blog to find out more!

Angi
Angi focused on the photo squares of the sketch to make her card. She also added circle elements at the top. She layered two canvas squares to add more texture and dimension to the design. To see more please visit Cokie Pop Paper.

C
C used the challenge sketch from the Liz Chidester this week to play with some adorable new Echo Park paper and reminisce about a train ride with the family when my step-son was small. We had a wonderful trip to visit the Grandparents. I hope everyone gets a chance to take their kids for a train ride.

Link up your submissions between now and Sunday 9 pm (Eastern US) to be eligible for our monthly prize !
