Here is what you will need:
Paper scraps, adhesive, glue dots, scissors and embellishments of your choice.
Cut the base of the journaling card at 3 1/4 X 4 inches and the mat at 3 X 3 3/4 inches. Choose another scrap that you have die cut or die cut a piece of scrap paper.
Next, adhere your layers.
~ OR ~
Trim off excess.
Last but not least, Embellish your journaling card!
I chose to use this flower that I pulled off of a card I received.
Here is the completed journaling card! Use these on layouts, in mini albums or attach to the front of a card!
The possibilities are endless for these cards! Another perk, you can customize the colors for your project! Here are some fun variations!!

I love all the tutorials, sketches, and challenges that the PS team shares. I wish I had a million hours in the day to do them all!!
I have a question/request for a card that has all the beautiful and unique layers, and embellishments, but is still within the one ounce limit for a standard postage stamp. I love sending out Mother's Day cards to my friends and family around the country because, let's face it, sometimes a card from a friend will be the only Mother's Day card you get. LOL So how can I move past the standard layers and bow and create something amazing that I don't have to pay extra postage for?

Wow, what a neat idea! All of my journaling cards are so boring, what a great way to spruce it up. All these people are talking about "saving it to favorites," how do I do that??? Because I want to :D

@Coley - Click on the title of the blog post and then up on your tool bar on the left hand side there should be a button that says favorites. Click that and then click add to favorites and it will save it.
