Thursday's Tutorial from Liz !!

Liz has our tutorial today !!

I love the look of machine stitching on layouts - unfortunately I have zero sewing machine skills. So I have a cheats way of sewing on your layout giving it a machine style finish.

Step 1: Design what you would like to stitch on your computer (or by hand if you are good at this). Then print it off and cut around it.

Step 2: Adhere lightly onto your layout where you'd like the design to be remembering to put the tape somewhere where you won't be stitching otherwise you will get tape on your needle and it will make it difficult to stitch.

Step 3: Using a paper piercer pierce holes outlining your design.

Step 4: Now start stitching.
Step 5: Viola! That's it! It's a very simple yet effective technique. You can do this with all kids of designs, fonts etc and use various coloured thread to get a lovely look.

Is that effective !

Thank you, Liz !!

Don't forget we have new deadlines for our linky - Sunday 9PM (Eastern US) submissions close, and voting closes on Tuesday at 6AM (Eastern US.)
