Challenge 21 - Welcome !!

Welcome to this week's Papercraft Star Challenge 21. We have a lot of exciting prizes and activities going on this month!

Don't forget - all month long four of our Design Team members, Jan (Our Design Team Coordinator), and Designers Regan, Tracy and Christy will create all of their projects using products from our Design Team sponsor, the Kraft Outlet!

Kraft Outlet is your source for Brown Kraft Labels, Kraft Paper and Cardstock, Hang Tags and Printing Supplies! Kraft Outlet is a leading online vendor for Brown Kraft Labels, Kraft Paper and Cardstock. Whether you are needing to make business cards, hang tags, bag toppers, product or address and shipping labels the Kraft Outlet's specialty papers and labels will help you achieve that old time worn look! Kraft Outlet - helping you achieve the look you want, at an affordable price!

During this special event, our group of talented Designers will show you how to use some of the amazing products available for purchase online at the Kraft Outlet. We hope you'll take the time to visit the Kraft Outlet today!

We are also proud to announce our Grand Prize sponsor for November, Scrapbook Circle! At Scrapbook Circle, they have been creating monthly scrapbooking kits for over 4 years and love every minute of it! They also love sharing their ideas and getting to know other paper crafters on their blog, on Twitter, in their idea gallery, as well as on Facebook.

Unlike many other clubs with scrapbooking kits, they do not require a long commitment to be a subscriber. You just commit to receiving 2 consecutive kits to receive the subscriber's lower price. They also offer single kit purchases. Additionally, they love combining a lot of manufacturers in their kits plus each kit includes a custom pdf download designed to coordinate with the monthly kit.

As a way of introducing Scrapbook Circle to our participants here at Papercraft Star, the Scrapbook Circle is offering their November kit as the November Grand Prize! To be eligilible to win the kit, participate in one or more challenges during the month of November (the more times you participate the more chances you have to win!) and we'll randomly select the winner of this fabulous kit on November 30, 2010!

We are also so thrilled to announce that this week's challenge sponsor is Butterflyfly.com! They are offering a unique prize of two accent stamps to the People's Choice Award winner! Butterfly Fly sells charming personalized rubber stamps, paper and ink. All stamps are mounted on traditional hourglass shaped wood letting you to change your ink color to fit the occasion. And many of the stamps are sold in sets allowing you to play with your layout.

Butterfly Fly stamps also make lovely gifts– whether it’s a simple name stamp to welcome a newborn or a bookplate stamp to encourage a new reader. Specific stamps for teachers, gardeners, cooks and bakers make for a very personal and thoughtful gesture.

Butterfly Fly's goal is to provide people with the tools to express their creativity in little everyday ways. Moving scrapbooking beyond the book and encouraging adults and kids to take pride in what they create. All with a stamp as special as they are.

Now this week's challenge is actually quite simple but we hope that it truly inspires you to think outside the traditional "holiday" box. Use this summer photograph as inspiration to create a holiday card or gift tag, heck you can even use it to create an altered item or a scrapbook layout... we just want you to create something beautiful and then, of course link... it here to join us in the challenge!

Jan

Jan really enjoyed this particular challenge - a summer house turned into a Christmas/Holiday card ! The Kraft Outlet supplies enhanced a very soft feel. Drop in on her blog for all the details !!

Tracy

Tracy chose to make a tag for this week's photo inspiration challenge. The tag is made almost exclusively with paper and ribbon products from our wonderful Design Team sponsor for the month of November, Kraft Outlet. Chipboard, cardstock, ink and a glittery snowman combine for a fun winter tag. You can find all the details for the construction of the tag on Tracy's blog.

Regan

Regan used the colors and clean, simple look of the inspiration photo to create this pretty Christmas card. She used kraft card stock from Kraft Outlet as her card base and then highlighted it with some white snowflakes. She added some sparkle by heat embossing the snowflakes, adding some sheer ribbon and some bling! For more photos and details, please visit her blog.

Christy

Christy used the soft hues of ivory and blue to base her card off of in our picture challenge this week to create her version of a "country" Christmas card.

Isn't that Kraft with the blue so gorgeous on all these projects !!

You can submit right now !! Our link is open until Saturday noon, and then our public voting begins. Our winner is always announced on Tuesdays too.

Now don't forget to come back tomorrow and Friday to see more of our fabulous Designer reveals right here at Papercraft Star!
