Challenge 19 - Opens Today !!

Welcome to Challenge 19!!

This month at Papercraft Star we're starting something new! Not only do you have the chance to win the People's Choice Award button and a yummy papercraft sponsor prize. Now, all of our challenge participants have the opportunity to win a randomly drawn Grand Prize at the end of every month! That's right! We want all of our participants, no matter what craft style or skill level to have the opportunity to win prizes here at Papercraft Star because we love our participants so dang much! Each month we will randomly select a Grand Prize winner from all the participants of all the challenges during that month. The more times you enter the challenges during that month, the more times your name is entered into the drawing and the bigger chance you have to win the Grand Prize!

We are excited to announce that our October Grand Prize is sponsored by two fabulous Etsy Shops, Art Cult and DPD Designs. DPD Designs Home of the Original "Hairballs" is providing the randomly selected Grand Prize winner with an amazing assortment of buttons as well as some paper die cuts.

Sugarbsupplies is an Etsy shop where you will find a fantasic mix of papercrafting and packaging supplies. We offer muslin bags, handmade embellishments, labels, Japanese masking tape and too many other fabulous items to mention!

Photo inspiration from Martha Stewart Living.

The challenge is open now, and will continue until Saturday noon (Eastern USA). Voting will begin immediately thereafter, and continue until Monday midnight !!

Jan
A simple card for a friend was Jan's choice this week. She thought the photo was stunning, and wanted to reflect the same serenity. The image is from Art Cult, one of our October sponsors.

Regan
Regan found inspiration from the colors and the fall theme in the photo to create a fun 12X12 layout of a family trip to the Pumpkin Patch last year. She scrap-lifted the idea of the faux scrabble tiles with the numbers making out the year from Kathryn. You can find more photos and details on her blog.

Liz
Liz used the pears from the photo as her inspiration for this week's challenge. She thought the October Afternoon 'Farm Fresh' collection was perfect for this.

Tracy

Tracy chose to use the soft greens and browns in this weeks photo inspiration. The pears are colored with a light coat of shimmery gold . Distressed edges and a seam binding bow add to the soft look of the card.

Tomorrow Catherine and Christy will be sharing their inspired projects - don't miss it !!!
