We are so excited to have a guest designer with us this week too, Laurel Seabrook from wanttoscrap. You have probably seen Laurel's creations all over paper blogland, as well as here at Papercraft Star !!
"I am thrilled to be a Guest Designer on Papercraft Star. What a great group of ladies to be designing along side. I like to participate in as many challenges as I can; I not only love them but they help keep the mojo flowing for me! I am passionate about papercrafting and take time to do it everyday. Thanks to the Papercraft Star Team for inviting me and I look forward to seeing what you come up with for this weeks Simon Says challenge."
"It is hard to tell, but I did score the card ! I made 5 score lines in the pattern paper and they are under the ribbon and flower. To make the flower I used the Peony Nestabilities die, cut out 3 flowers, spritzed with water, crumpled and layered."
Isn't that gorgeous ! What a treat to have Laurel join us, thank you Laurel !
Liz, Jan, Regan and Caroline really enjoyed this particular challenge ! Let's see what they have for us this week.
Liz
Liz created a 'thank you' card using this week's recipe challenge. She used Tim Holtz Alterations 'Tattered Florals' die cuts to make her layered flower. She used buttons and twine to finish off the card.
Jan
A cheerful get well card from Jan this week for the recipe challenge. She used lots of different products to make this seemingly simple card.
Regan
Regan found this weeks Simon Says challenge to be a lot of fun. She created this fun fall card being careful to only do what Simon said! She chose to layer her 3 flowers to create one larger flower. One of the three buttons was used for the center of her flower, while the other two she used to hang from the ends of her twine. Please visit her blog for more details.
Caroline loved this Simon Says challenge. She created this get well card and even dyed her twine using alcohol inks for this challenge.
Catherine, Christy and Dawn will be here tomorrow with their recipe cards - be sure to check then !
Link up your submissions below ! The challenge begins today, and ends on Saturday at noon. Voting closes Monday night at midnight. You will have a lot of fun with this one !!
