Challenge 11 - Cricut Cartridges

Welcome to Papercraft Star's 11th Challenge !

Our theme this week is Back to School, using your Cricut cartridge or die cut ! Yes, it is that time again - school, homework, and lunchboxes. Remember how you secretly looked forward to its return ? Or that pit in your tummy all summer knowing you would start a new school in the fall?

Our design team remembers it all so well ! And here are their designs for today !

Regan

Regan's girls aren't quite old enough to head off to school just yet, so she took this opportunity to interview her daughter about what she wants to be when she grows up! She used the Cricut to cut out the pencils for the cute banner across the top, added a file tab from the office supply section to record the date and her spiral punch to create the notebook journaling spot on this adorable layout! For more photos and information, please visit her blog.

Jan

Jan chose a SCAL file to cut this cute cartoon school bus. She stuck to an elementary sketch, and solid colors to reflect a grade school image. Jan cannot believe she didn't think of doing something with lunchboxes, since she has a vintage collection of over 250 boxes. Maybe next year!

Liz

Liz used bright patterned paper to scrap a photo of her son's first day of school. She used her Cuttlebug and Spellbinders dies to make all the shapes showing from behind her photo. Visit her blog for some tips and techniques.

Caroline

Caroline doesn't have any kids so the "going back to school" is not something she has to do every year. But she has plenty of friends who are teachers and boy does she admire the work that they do. She hopes everyone has a great year this year!

You can link up your submissions right now ! Our submissions close on Saturday, 9/4, when voting opens. Be sure to check back tomorrow for three more fabulous creations from our team.
