Thursday Inspiration

If you haven't yet entered your Red, White, Blue and/or Americana project for Challenge 2, what are you waiting for? Perhaps some more inspiration from our Designers? Well, here it is!

Regan

Regan created a Fourth of July 12X12 layout for this challenge. She used red, cream, and two shades of blue for her color combination to add that Americana flare. To give the layout dimension and interest, she used stars and fireworks on pop dots and added stickles to give them some sparkle!

Catherine

Christy

Happy Birthday USA!! Christy captured the essence of Americana by documenting her family's 2009 Fourth of July celebration. She had a "blast!" putting this layout together using some Junebug goodies from Basic Grey! Once again Christy added some extra dimension to her layout by adding some machine stitching to frame up her pictures.

Dawn

For this challenge, Dawn is playing a little more off the 'americana' in the title than the red, white and blue. She made us a scrapbook layout featuring a printed copy of a map that Lewis & Clark drew out when they visited the same place. You can see she pinpointed the location of their trip on the map, and printed the journaling, then made it into a tag for the page.

Stop by Papercraft Star tomorrow for more inspiration from our fantastic Designers and don't forget to enter your project (by scrolling down to Wednesday's Challenge post) before Saturday at noon Eastern Time.
