Challenge #6 - A Sketch

We are so happy you came to join us for Challenge #6. If you have been following us, you have already seen the sketch for this challenge.

Beth created this simple card sketch for us....

If you are not a card maker, no problem. Turn this sketch into a layout or other project of your choice. You don't have to color inside the lines here at PCS.
Our design team has created everything from simple to elaborate with this sketch. We can't wait to see what you come up with.
You have until Saturday July 31st,  Noon (eastern time) to get your project linked up, then the voting will begin. Even if you don't submit a project for this challenge, be sure to come back and vote for your favorite entry.

Okay, lets get on to our first four designers. They are sure to inspire you with their creations.

Jan

She is not a girly girl, but you would never know it from Jan's pink creation. If you like Tim Holtz, there is lots of it here !

Caroline

Caroline made a simple summery thank you card using the wild card cartridge and the "hide selected contour" on the gypsy to delete a portion of the Lattice cut.

Liz

This week's sketch inspired Liz to do a 'sympathy' card. Instead of using the words 'with sympathy' Liz chose to use a rubon of a beautiful quote as her title. She chose beautiful patterned paper that works well with lace and pearls giving the card a vintage look.

Regan

Regan used this weeks Sketch challenge to create a masculine birthday card. With two men in her life having birthdays this month, it seemed like the perfect fit! She used earth tones, hemp and antique copper brads to give that masculine feel, but lightened it up by using a border punch! You can find out more on her blog.

See, what did I tell ya.....lots of inspiration here!  Be sure to come back tomorrow and see three more designers projects.

Beth did a great job on this sketch. I am really looking forward to seeing what everyone creates from it - could be simple, could be really complex. Great job DT this week too.

Our Designers have created such beautiful cards from the sketch... they prove over and over again exactly why the were chosen to be a part of the team here at Papercraft Star. I love the participant entries thus far as well! Thanks for joining us!

I am going to link up a project pretty soon, but I have a question. How does the voting work? I follow this site and receive notices on my blogger dashboard but I never seem to get anything about voting? Do I just need to remember to come back by here or is there something else I am missing?

Hi goatesgirl!

Voting starts every Saturday at 12 Noon eastern time. You won't get a notification sent to you through blogger. You just come back to the same place that you post your project and click on the one you wish to vote for.

Hope that helps :)
