Challenge 2 - Red, White and Blue

In honor of the 4th of July, we've cooked up a super appropriate challenge here at Papercraft Star.  Enter your projects that use Red, White and Blue and/or Americana as the inspiration for your piece.

Here is all you have to do to participate for the opportunity to win the People's Choice Award as well as be entered into the finals.

1. Create a brand new project featuring Red,White and Blue and/or Americana.
2. Link your project photograph and post below. (Please make sure you link the post that features your photograph so everyone who visits your blog can see what you've created in all it's glory!).
3. Be sure to enter your project BEFORE Saturday at 12 noon (Eastern Time).
4. Come back between Saturday after 12 noon and Tuesday to vote for your favorite entry.
5. Don't forget to tell all your friends, family and followers to vote for their favorite project as well!
6. Visit Papercraft Star every day through Friday to see our Designer inspiration pieces!  They are awesome and you simply don't want to miss it!

That's it!  Simple and fun too!

Now for Wednesday's Designer Inspiration:

Caroline

This week the designer's were given Red, White, and Blue for their challenge. Well with July 4th right around the corner how could you not do something representing that great summer holiday. Caroline made a simple but lovely "Happy 4th" card. She added some interest to the card by scoring the card base to represent the flag using the Martha Stewart Scoreboard.

Liz

Although they do not celebrate the 4th of July in Australia that does not mean red, white and blue, and stars and stripes cannot be used for other topics. Liz has used this week's challenge to create a layout featuring her son and the colours red, white and blue. She has put the emphasis on stars and added some striped paper, buttons and ribbons to complete this layout.

Jan

A vintage Fourth of July is brought to mind by Jan with this card that features old-time paper and the image of a by-gone era.

Be sure to enter your project link below and come back tomorrow for some more Designer inspiration pieces!
