Friday's Executive Reveal from Jan !!

♥♥♥♥♥♥

Hi ! Welcome to today's Executive Reveal at Papercraft Star. This is our last week with most of our Design Team - we will sure miss Angi, Jen and Cecilia. Meanwhile, I will carry on with Tracy, Regan and Kim until the end of the summer. AND of course, we still have our founders, Beth and Kristina.

This week we have this sketch !

And here is my idea of that same sketch .... We also had to include
1) 1 card stock paper
2) 2 patterned papers
3) 3 pieces of bling

Still working on more "girly" with my favorite card colors. This is a wonderfully easy sketch to work with, and I know I will be using it again.

Hope you are looking forward to a wonderful long Memorial Weekend here in the States - I am hoping someone will cook outside for me !

Still time to link up here at Papercraft Star with your entries !!

Summer Re-Runs at Papercraft Star with Kristina Harmon

The mild weather is finally upon us in the United States and we're arranging our schedules and Design Team commitments for the summer months (so that the Design Team can have a bit of a break now and again).... so just like on television, we'll be playing some "re-runs" during the summer and until our new Design Team starts in September.

These re-runs are actually tutorials that the lovely Kristina Harmon shared over at The Kraft Journal earlier this year... but in case our followers here at Papercraft Star missed them, we are going to play a few for you on our Thursday tutorial days!  We hope you enjoy them!

Today Designer Kristina Harmon shares a sweet Matchbook project perfect for Valentine's Day.  Enjoy!

Remember, there is still time to get in on our current challenge here at Papercraft Star this week too!  Check out the link in our top right sidebar to learn more and enter your project too!!

Papercraft Star 47

Welcome to this week's challenge !! On a very sad note, we are saying goodbye to three members of our design team, Angi, Jennifer and C. We want to thank them for all their hard work, tutorials, and designs. It is not easy being a DT member as there are so many little jobs going on behind the scenes - we hope you will join us in thanking each of them.

Jan, Regan, Tracy and Kim will be staying on another three months, until the end of August. Watch for our DT call later on this summer !!

This Month's Grand Prize Sponsor

2 Patterned papers
3 Pieces of Bling

Senior Design Team

Tracy
Tracy used some beautiful prima floral papers to create her card based on this week's sketch and recipe challenge. She added a sweet sentiment to go along with the pretty papers.

Regan
Regan has really been wanting to make a pinwheel embellishment and she thought this sketch was the perfect way to showcase it. What a fun card for the birthday boy or girl in your life! For more details, please visit her blog Emora Designs.

Design Team

Kim
Kim says she felt right at home while playing along with this week's sketch. She loved being able to add flowers as her main focal point, while using a fun sentiment stamp. For her bling, she added three small jewels and a vintage glass button from Germany. For more information, be sure to stop by Kim's blog and say hello while you're there!

Jennifer
Jennifer made this card with some lovely coordinating papers and embellishments, a stamped tag, and some pretty baker's twine. Head over to her blog for all of the details!

Angi
Angi loved the angle of the sketch this week. She used up some of her Cosmo Cricket stash for her card. She also added texture to the design by adding an oversized Canvas Bloom and Canvas Ribbon. For more details be sure to visit Angi at Cokie Pop Paper.

Cecilia
C's card was created using some fun celebration-style paper, some bling, fun distressing ink and a sentiment celebrating grandfather. Check out her blog, TradeFish Designs for more details on how this card came together!

C will be back with us again next month for our blog hop, and as DT sponsor with her new line of stamps. You are going to love them !!

Link up now until Sunday 9pm (Eastern US).

We will have a summer rerun tutorial tomorrow and Jan has our Executive Reveal on Friday - see you then !!
