This week's winner will receive a beautiful People's Choice Award blog button as well as a sweet package of papercrafting goodness!
For a chance to win, all you have to do is enter your project that was inspired by this week's photograph and link it up at the bottom of this post. You have until this Saturday (12:00 noon Eastern Time) to enter. After twelve noon on Saturday, the public voting begins. So make sure you post your creations on your own blogs and tell your followers to come on over to Papercraft Star to vote for their favorite! Votes will be accepted until early in the morning on Tuesday the 26. The project that receives the most public votes will be announced along with the new challenge on Wednesday June 30.
Caroline
Caroline chose to use this week's photo inspiration challenge to create a sympathy card. The colors in the photo silver, red, and white can be very comforting to someone in their time of loss. She used an easel card cut file created using the Cricut Design Studio which Caroline is willing to share (just hop on over to her blog). If you don't have the Cricut Design Studio (or a Gypsy) you can find instructions for an easel card here.

Jan
Jan created this "Friends 'til the End" card using the challenge photo as her inspiration. A smooth stark white background is complimented by embossing and a nubby white on white polka dot ribbon and bow. Jan finished the card with splashes of red.
Liz
Liz used the pearls, red flowers and elegance from challenge #1 as her inspiration for her layout. The white cardstock gives the same crisp elegant look as the gorgeous white shirt. She then chose to use black and white patterned paper with a bit of red to build her layout. She added red flowers, covered in Glimmer Mist, with pearl centres, lace and ribbon. The chipboard title was covered in paint as well as Glimmer Mist to give it sparkle. The edges of the patterned paper were inked in charcoal to take away the sharpness. The pearls, lace, lace punch border and ribbon give the layout a classic and elegant feel.

Friday Inspiration - Challenge 1
Happy Friday to you! I know you will find these final DT projects totally inspiring.
Today we have Steph D., Stephanie, Suzy, and Tracy. Be sure to visit the DT blogs for detail about their fabulous project.
Steph D
Steph designed the card to replicate the beautiful neckpiece in the photo by using vibrant red colored flowers with pearl accents and pom pom trims.
Stephanie A
Stephanie found the photo extremely feminine with the red flowers against a white background. She switched around the color scheme and added a touch of black. She finds that combinding red, white and black creates an amazing look. Using the red as the focal point, she positioned a white block on top then added a feminine silhouette image with a sentiment.
Suzanne S
Suzy created this romantic 12x12 layout for the first challenge, documenting her sister-in-law's engagement. She was inspired by the red flowers in the Etsy shop photo. Her hand crocheted roses wrap around a pearl brad and offer a pop of color against a damask background. Visit her blog for more details.
Tracy
Tracy used this week's beautiful challenge color combination of red and white to create a card using a pretty digital stamp image from Digi Doodle. She embossed the card front and around the image for some added texture. The image was colored with watercolor pencils for a soft look. Some pretty pearls and ribbon line the bottom of the card for a little shine and sparkle.
Go ahead and link up your project, time is running out! Be sure to get it linked in time because the voting begins Saturday at Noon (Eastern Time).
Also, just a reminder, the winner will receive a People's Choice Award button for their blog as well as a prize of some paper crafting goodness!!

Thursday Inspiration - Challenge 1
(Keep Scrolling Past This Post to Enter Your Project for Challenge 1)
Wow, what did you think of all that fabulous inspiration yesterday?
Wow, what did you think of all that fabulous inspiration yesterday?
Are you ready for more?
Today we have Catherine, Christy S., Dawn, and Regan. They have all created some beautiful projects based on the inspriation photo.
Catherine
Catherine used the pop of red in the flowers on the scarf and transferred that idea onto the page by placing the red flower on top of the cream colored lace ribbon that ran horizontally along the top of the page. To also bring out that beautiful cream color she layered a flower on top of the red one with a pearl accent in the center. She also brought in a few black accents with the strip of black velvet and black shimmer accent, as well as the word love.
Christy
Christy used the colors of Challenge #1-Photo Inspiration as her "launching pad" this week. She used a simple background and popped it with a bold red from Studio Calico's new line-Documentary. Bringing in some of the geometric patterns from the photo as well she finished off her title using layered circles.

Dawn

Lucky for Dawn, that her now baby brother-in-law graduated this month- and his school colors are red, white and bling (silver). She chose to make him a congratulatory card based off of his school colors; and our photo.
Regan
Regan used this weeks challenge to create a 12X12 layout. She used the color combination and the art of crochet as her inspiration from the photo. She hand crocheted each of the red flowers and placed them around the photo. By adding some Prima bling and roses around the crocheted flowers she allows the viewers eye to be drawn to the photo. For more photos and details, please visit her blog.
See, I told you, beautiful projects! So what are you waiting for, run (don't walk) to your craft space and get busy. You've got until Saturday to link up your project in time for the voting to begin.
Feel free to enter as many projects as you like and don't forget to come back and vote for your favorite project as well! Voting begins on Saturday at 12 Noon (Eastern Time).
Be sure to come and visit us tomorrow for even more inspriation from our fabulous Design Team.
